## Anime Style and Sound
The series combines French animation with Japanese themes, featuring a theme song by Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui.
## Studio Ghibli Influence
The colorful, gloomy environments and imaginative creatures evoke Studio Ghibli's sense of wonder for the small screen.
## Action Sequences
Episodes 1 and 2 feature large battles between Queen Zabelle and a warrior, and a dragon wreaking havoc at a farmers' market.
## Overly Explanatory Dialogue
Characters talk excessively, spelling out personalities and motivations instead of living organically in the moment.
## Simple Cooking Themes
The show features down-to-earth dishes that feel more real than the surreal, with no fireworks after eating.

Welsh & Shedar has 12 episodes, streaming free on YouTube starting Nov. 5, with a full series available online.
