## Injury disruption
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick faces disruption to midweek Champions League preparations due to injuries to Eric García and Jules Koundé.
## García and Koundé roles
García was preferred starter at right back for most of the season, with Koundé filling in for last two La Liga matches as García shifted to central role.
## Return timelines
García's thigh injury timeline is up to four weeks, while Koundé's ankle sprain should see him return sooner but he misses Tuesday's game.
## García's social media
García posted on social media that football has these things and he's angry and sad he can't be there but will work to return soon.

> Football has these things and now I have to stop for a few days, just when matches come that we all want to play always, it makes me angry and sad that I can't be there, but I'll work my best to come back as soon as possible
## Defense challenges
Flick must construct new defense for PSG clash after losing García and Koundé, with Christensen also sidelined.
## Right back options
João Cancelo and Xavi Espart could fill right back role, with Balde out of favor as only natural left back.
## Center back dilemma
Pau Cubarsí is starter but must decide partner after Gerard Martín limped off with ankle injury.
## Martín's fitness test
Martín will undergo late fitness test to determine if he's healthy enough to start, bench or sit out.
## Emergency option
Flick has considered using Frenkie de Jong at center back in emergencies but he's primarily a midfielder.
## Key takeaway

Barcelona's manager Hansi Flick must adapt defense after injuries to García and Koundé before Champions League clash with PSG.
