## Toriano Pride claimed off waivers
The Cleveland Browns claimed seventh-round rookie cornerback Toriano Pride off waivers after he impressed during an August 20 joint practice. Pride ran a 4.31-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine but was inactive for Week 1.
## Ben VanSumeren played for Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs signed fullback Ben VanSumeren to their practice squad and elevated him for Monday Night Football against Denver. He played three offensive snaps and 22 special teams snaps in the Chiefs' 31-10 win.

## Shane Zylstra brief Patriots stint
Tight end Shane Zylstra signed with the Patriots on September 2 but didn't play in Week 1. The team released him on Tuesday to make room for safety Elliott Davison.
## Jimmy Ciarlo joined Titans practice squad
Linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo, one of the Bills' cuts, joined the Tennessee Titans' practice squad on Tuesday, becoming another example of released players finding new opportunities.
## Dante Pettis working out for Ravens
Wide receiver Dante Pettis, a veteran cut by the Bills, had an official workout with the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, potentially becoming the seventh Bills cut to land with another team.
## Key takeaway
