## Brightin Star MF 50mm f/2.0 Tri-Sight Lens
This multi-mount, metal lens controls bokeh bubbles with a slider.

> The Brightin Star MF 50mm f/2.0 Tri-Sight is a full-frame lens built around bokeh control
## Three Bokeh Styles
Photographers choose from prime, foams, or smooth settings for out-of-focus areas.

> The Prime setting is a standard mode for sharp subjects and well-defined, circular bokeh in the background
## Foams Setting
Creates well-defined edges on bokeh balls, sometimes called onion ring bokeh.

> Brighton Star says this setting also creates dreamy lens flares
## Smooth Setting
Produces softer, larger bokeh from points of light with a dreamy overall look.

> This setting also creates a softer overall look, much like using a diffusion filter
## Drop-in Discs
Lens ships with discs that shape bokeh including triangular, star, butterfly, and four-leaf clover shapes.

> Using cut-outs to shape bokeh is a common photography trick, but Brightin Star is building the feature into the lens with a rear insert
## Multi-Mount Availability
Available in Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, and L-Mount with lengths from 7 to 7.4cm.

> While the size varies slightly by mount, Brighton Star calls it a compact lens, with the length of the lens varying from 7 cm to 7.4cm depending on the mount
## Price and Availability
Retails for $399 / £302 (about AU$572 / CA$566) with pre-orders opening now.

> If the Brightin Star MF 50mm f/2.0 Tri-Sight sounds familiar, that's because the lens was first teased as a prototype earlier this year
## Key takeaway

Brightin Star's 50mm f/2.0 Tri-Sight lens offers three bokeh styles via slider and drop-in discs for custom out-of-focus effects.
