## Caitlin Clark's Reaction
After Friday night's win, Clark called Kelsey Mitchell's WNBA scoring record 'insane' and 'ridiculous' for her efficiency.

> Yeah, just super excited for her. I mean, I don't think people realize what she's done this year and how insane it's been.
## Mitchell's Scoring Record
Mitchell scored her 1,022nd point of the season, the most in WNBA history, with 33 points in a 103-85 victory over Toronto Tempo.

> She scored her 1,022nd point of the season, the most any player has racked up in a single WNBA season.
## Mitchell's Efficiency
Mitchell has a 51.8% field-goal percentage and 46.2% three-point shooting, making her one of the league's most efficient scorers.

## MVP Contention
Mitchell and Caitlin Clark are both among the WNBA MVP contenders, with A'ja Wilson leading the race for a fifth MVP award.

> It's clear the Fever have the best backcourt in the WNBA, and with fellow All-Star Aliyah Boston often achieving double-doubles with her scoring and rebounding, the Fever seem to be surging at the right time.
## Next Game
Mitchell aims to add to her season points record when the Fever host the Washington Mystics on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. ET.
