## The comeback finally starts
Celine Dion opened a 16-date residency at Plenitude Arena outside Paris on September 12, 2026.
## Four years away
These are her first major live shows since she stepped back from performing in 2022.
## The tears came anyway
She cried in the opening moments of the show, in front of thousands of fans who had waited years for it.

> I had promised myself not to cry
## What she told the crowd
Dion said she was happy to see them and had missed them, then promised to get through the songs without crying.

> But I'm so happy to see you all. I missed you.
## Two hours and twenty minutes
The set ran past 2:20 and skipped nothing, working through the full run of her biggest songs.
## Every hit, in both languages
The night included "The Power of Love," "All By Myself," "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" and "My Heart Will Go On."
## Key takeaway

Dion is back on stage in a real way: 16 shows, a two-hour-plus set, and every hit she is known for.
