## Cricut launches sticker machines
Cricut, maker of cutting and heat pressing machines for home crafters, released two new sticker-making devices: the StickerPix Print and StickerPix Print plus Cut.
## Two sizes, two capabilities
The StickerPix Print measures seven point eight by five by three point five inches and prints on four by six-inch photo paper or pre-cut sticker sheets. The larger Print plus Cut is eight by eleven point three by four point one inches and works with four by seven-inch sticker sheets.
## Dye-sublimation makes prints durable
Both machines use dye-sublimation to apply heat and transfer dye directly onto material, then add a laminate layer that makes prints water, scratch and fade-resistant. Other Cricut machines require an inkjet printer and special laminate sheets to achieve similar results.
## Print plus Cut adds cutting ability
The Print plus Cut combines printing with Cricut's cutting technology for the first time. Unlike other Cricut machines, you are not limited to predetermined sticker shapes because the machine can cut custom designs from the material.
## Kiss-cut stickers and software requirements
Both machines make kiss-cut stickers that stay attached to a single sheet, rather than die-cut stickers separated from backing paper. You must use Cricut Design Space software on your phone or computer, which likely pushes users toward Cricut Access subscription for more templates and discounts.
## Pricing and availability
The Cricut StickerPix Print and Print plus Cut are available now, starting at one hundred sixty-nine dollars and two hundred ninety-nine dollars respectively. Both come bundled with sticker sheets, photo paper and an ink cartridge.
## Key takeaway

Cricut released two new sticker-making machines that use dye-sublimation printing and optional cutting, available now from one hundred sixty-nine dollars.
