## Coach goes viral mid-presser
Deion Sanders spoke roughly 10 unintelligible words at the start of his postgame press conference after Colorado's 52-21 win over Weber State, sparking confusion and social media speculation.
## He was upset with his team
Despite the blowout victory, Sanders had just finished addressing his players and was still frustrated with how they performed on the field.
## Prayer helped him reset
Sanders explained he uses prayer in the spirit to calm down before speaking with reporters. It's a genuine spiritual practice, not a planned performance or gimmick.

> I had just come from addressing the team, and I lit them up, so I had to calm down.
## He's done this before
Sanders has used this prayer method throughout his life, including before surgery and in other high-pressure situations. He's not shy about his faith.

> I love the Lord with all my heart, and I'm not scared to speak it in front of anybody, anywhere, at any time.
## Colorado off to strong start
The Buffaloes are two and zero after opening with a 14-13 win over Georgia Tech. Sanders is in his fourth year rebuilding the program after last season's 3-9 record.
## Key takeaway

Deion Sanders uses prayer in the spirit to calm himself down before high-pressure situations, not as a gimmick or performance.
