## No Mosquitoes at Disney Parks
Disney parks have no mosquitoes due to engineering design.

## Major General Joe Potter’s Role
Major General Joe Potter, a US Army engineer, led mosquito control efforts at Disney.

## Drainage Canals Prevent Mosquitoes
Disney dug miles of interconnected drainage canals to dry soil and stop mosquito breeding.

> Potter proposed digging miles of interconnected drainage canals throughout the Disney property to clear and dry the soil for construction.
## Biological Mosquito Control
Disney uses garlic sprays and bat houses to naturally reduce mosquito populations.

## Visitor Mosquito Complaints
Some visitors claim regular mosquito bites despite Disney’s mosquito control measures.

> I got 67 bites on my honeymoon there.
## Key takeaway
