## Playlists solve decision paralysis
The new Playlists feature offers curated collections that let viewers watch without endless scrolling or deciding what to watch next, embracing lean-back viewing.
## Lean-back viewing is the answer
Instead of active selection, lean-back viewing lets you sit back and enjoy pre-selected content, reducing the friction that makes streaming exhausting.
## Netflix tried this and abandoned it
Netflix launched a similar feature called Play Something, but it didn't survive long, raising questions about whether Disney+ Playlists will have better staying power.
## The real test is longevity
While Playlists solve a real problem for subscribers, the feature's success depends on whether Disney+ commits to it long-term, unlike Netflix's abandoned attempt.
## Key takeaway

Curated playlists solve the paradox of choice by letting you watch without deciding, but streaming services have killed similar features before.
