## Clean bill of health vanishes
The Dolphins entered their opener fully healthy but will miss at least one player against San Francisco, possibly two.
## Kyle Louis out with MCL sprain
The rookie safety suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday's 27-13 loss to Las Vegas. He'll miss this week and possibly longer.
## Injured reserve a possibility
Louis is expected to miss a few weeks, making him a candidate for IR. That would force him to sit out four games minimum.
## Long-snapper injury complicates things
Tucker Addington hurt his shoulder against the Raiders but stayed in the game. The team nearly had to use linebacker Jacob Rodriguez as emergency replacement.
## Veteran long-snapper gets tryout
Miami brought in Cal Adomitis on Tuesday. The four-year NFL veteran has 58 career games and spent training camp with Green Bay.
## Practice squad elevation likely
The Dolphins could sign Adomitis to the practice squad and elevate him for Sunday if Addington can't play through his shoulder injury.
## Dodson joins Panthers as expected
Tyrel Dodson signed to Carolina's active roster from their practice squad, clarifying why Miami released him before Week 1.
## Financial decision behind Dodson cut
His $3 million salary would have become fully guaranteed if he was on the Week 1 roster. Miami saved that cap space for future years.
## Rodriguez sealed Dodson's fate
Drafting the linebacker in the second round made Dodson expendable. Rodriguez's strong opener against Las Vegas validated the decision.
## Key takeaway

The Dolphins' clean injury report from Week 1 has vanished, with rookie safety Kyle Louis out multiple weeks and long-snapper Tucker Addington questionable.
