Prime Big Deals Day isn't until October 6-7, but Amazon has already released early kitchen deals. Top picks include knives, blenders, and vacuums.
## What Prime Big Deals Day is
The fall version of Prime Day is a two-day shopping event that kicks off the holiday season. Discounts span all categories, including kitchen gear.

> Around here we just call it Fall Prime Day, this two-day event is sort of an amuse bouche to the holiday shopping season in November.
## You need Prime membership
Access requires Amazon Prime at $14.99 monthly or $139 yearly. Members get free delivery, streaming, e-books, and now Grubhub+ perks.
## Tested appliances on sale
The Cosori Lite air fryer, BA's small air fryer winner, is nearly 20% off. The Toshiba rice cooker with fuzzy logic is over 25% off.
## Shun knives are discounted
Several Shun knives are on sale, including the Classic 5.5" Santoku at 31% off and the Shiranami 7" Santoku at 15% off.
## Vacuum and cleaning deals
The Dyson V8 cordless vacuum is $115 off at $300. Swedish dish cloths are $16 for a 10-pack that lasts nearly a year.

> Your kitchen is messy. You know it, we know it, and a vacuum (or a mop vac) will help get it in shape.
## Meal prep gear is cheaper
The FoodSaver compact vacuum sealer is 30% off, perfect for meal prep. The Instant Pot Duo Crisp combo is 14% off at $190.
