## Voter registration update
Citizens whose names were excluded from draft electoral rolls during the special intensive revision in seven states and Union Territories can submit a fresh enumeration form to have their names included in the final list.
## Who can apply
The provision applies to those whose enumeration forms were not received, resulting in them being marked absent, shifted, dead or duplicate in the draft rolls.
## Seven states covered
The seven states are: Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana and Nagaland.
## New address requirement
Booth level officers will issue fresh enumeration forms to these voters. Those who have shifted to a new address within the state must submit the form along with proof of residence.
## No form 8 needed
They will not need to file Form 8, which is used to update addresses, the poll body said.
## Reason for delay
Electors who have not shifted homes but were unable to submit their forms earlier must submit the form along with a statement explaining the reason for the delay.
## Key takeaway

Election Commission allows voters excluded during special revision to submit fresh forms for inclusion in final electoral rolls.
