## Eight Mets prospects to Arizona
The Mets are sending eight minor leaguers to the Arizona Fall League in October and November. The league helps prospects showcase themselves and catch up on reps after injuries.
## Bruin Agbayani leads the group
The most familiar name is Bruin Agbayani, Benny's son, who came over in the A.J. Minter trade. He played just three games with Low-A St. Lucie due to a shoulder injury.
## Calvin Ziegler returns from surgery
The most intriguing prospect is Calvin Ziegler, a 2021 second-rounder with 103 strikeouts in 67 career innings. He's barely pitched due to repeated injuries, including 2024 Tommy John surgery.
## Ziegler showing promise as reliever
The righty returned midseason and began to show something as a reliever. He allowed one run in his last 8 2/3 innings with High-A Brooklyn and Double-A Binghamton.
## Five more prospects join roster
Boston Baro, an infield prospect who missed most of 2026 with a shoulder injury, will attend along with first baseman Cole Mathis and three relievers including flamethrower Ryan Lambert.
## Carson Benge joins rare company
Rookie Carson Benge hit his 18th homer and became just the second Mets rookie with 40 extra-base hits and 20 steals in a season, joining Gregg Jefferies from 1989.
## Key takeaway

The Arizona Fall League gives injured Mets prospects like Calvin Ziegler and Boston Baro a chance to catch up on reps and showcase their abilities.
