ElevenLabs launched two new speech models on Monday called ElevenLabs v4 and v4 Turbo, offering more expression control, lower latency for voice agents, and support for more than ninety languages.
## Voice cloning faster with new architecture
The v4 generation adopts a new architecture allowing better control and faster cloning. Users can now clone a voice with just ten seconds of audio, compared to the previous v3 model.
## Better expression and context handling
The model handles voice identity better over longer text chunks and keeps context in mind while reading aloud to change expressions. ElevenLabs expanded inline tags from v3, letting users stack multiple tags for the model to follow.
## Language support jumps to ninety
ElevenLabs increased language support from seventy in v3 to ninety languages in v4. The company observed the biggest quality jump in Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
## Enterprise calling drives business growth
ElevenLabs has scaled its enterprise calling business rapidly, with more than fifty five percent of revenue coming from large companies. The v4 model suits voice agents with lower latency for fluid conversation and can handle confrontations and escalations.
## Valuation and revenue surge
ElevenLabs raised five hundred million dollars from Sequoia earlier this year at an eleven billion dollar valuation. Annualized revenue run rate climbed from roughly three hundred thirty million dollars to over six hundred million dollars.
## IPO planned in coming years
Co-founder and CEO Mati Staniszewski said the company is aiming for an IPO in the next years but did not commit to a timeline. Headcount has reached over eight hundred as the company hires across India, Europe, and Brazil.
