## The night comes with parties
Television's biggest awards night never travels alone. Variety's 2026 gallery collects the best photos from the whole run of Emmy week events.

> Television's biggest night of the year always comes with lots of parties.
## It starts before the show
The Creative Coalition and BAFTA North America host the lead-in events, so the circuit is already running days before anyone hands out a trophy.
## Agencies throw their own
Talent agencies stage their own soirees during the week. Riz Ahmed turned up at the WME Emmy Party at Avra Beverly Hills on September 12.
## Streamers close it out
Apple TV, Netflix and HBO Max run the post-parties, which is where the winners and the also-rans end up in the same room after the telecast.
## Champagne on every corner
Malkin's read on the week: the events sprawl across Los Angeles and run at all hours, day and night, not just after the show.

> there seems to be champagne popping on every corner of Los Angeles at all hours of the day and night
## Who showed up
Sarah Snook, Mariska Hargitay, Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy gathered at the NBCUniversal Pre-Emmy Party at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
## Key takeaway

The Emmys are one telecast wrapped in a week of parties, and the party photos are where the real star sightings happen.
