## A tribute omission
The Emmys left Chuck Norris out of its In Memoriam segment after his death in March at age 86.
## A 1990s TV fixture
Norris became a CBS staple as Cordell Walker, leading “Walker, Texas Ranger” for nine seasons and 203 episodes from 1993 to 2001.
## Mills calls it terrible
Judson Mills, who joined the show in its final seasons, told TMZ the omission was both painful and mistaken.

> It hurt my feelings
## Their on-screen bond
Mills played Francis Gage opposite Norris in the last two seasons, then returned with him for the 2005 TV movie “Trial by Fire.”
## Why it stung
For Mills, Norris was not just a film star. He was a long-running television lead whose work helped define a network hit.
## Key takeaway

Chuck Norris’ long TV run on “Walker, Texas Ranger” made his Emmys omission feel personal to a former co-star.
