## Rodrigo Bazan's French Riviera Home
Fashion executive Rodrigo Bazan purchased a Provençal villa in Beaulieu-sur-Mer after 20 summers of frequent visits.

> I spent half my life, basically, connected to that property
## Modernist Design Transformation
ASA Studio Albanese redesigned the villa to create a tranquil space inspired by Côte d'Azur Modernist architecture.

> The architecture is calling, saying, 'Look at me!' We wanted to do the opposite
## Key Design Features
The home uses porthole windows, expanses of glazing, and an oak-clad staircase to connect interior and landscape.

> Functionality is one of the main aspects of these projects
## Light and Color Palette
Ivory-white lime plaster, pale wood, stainless steel, and local stone create a changing color scheme throughout the day.

> The color is never the same. When the light changes, the color shades change a little bit
## Furniture and Materials
The Knoll Barcelona Couch and Paola Lenti designs use natural tones to complement the Mediterranean landscape.

> All the shades of green, all the blue of the sea
## Functional Pool Design
The pool transforms into a terrace with shallow water for children and dinner parties when raised.

> This was really an idea by the owner. He saw this somewhere and he came with this idea for multiple reasons
## Olive Tree Integration
An ancient olive tree anchors the garden and connects the home to the landscape.

> Now it seems perfectly in its place in the new house, as it was in its place before
## Family-Friendly Space
The home includes a stainless-steel kitchen for cooking and entertaining with three children.

> The house is really something to be used. It’s for people who like cooking, choosing their food in the morning at the market
## Key takeaway

Fashion executive Rodrigo Bazan redesigned his French Riviera home to create a functional, minimalist space that harmonizes with the landscape and olive tree.
