## Geralt gets a Barbarian
CD Projekt and Blizzard showed the first look at a Geralt-themed Barbarian skin for Diablo 4, revealed during the 30 Years of Battle.net panel at BlizzCon 2026.
## The catch is the launcher
You only get the skin by pre-purchasing the Witcher 3 expansion Songs of the Past on Battle.net, or buying it there at launch. Steam buyers get nothing.
## Why that stings on Steam
The Witcher 3 Remastered arrives on Steam as a free upgrade on September 29, 2026. Anyone who already owns it there would have to rebuy the game on Battle.net just for a Diablo cosmetic.
## Players are not buying it
Reaction on social media ran from flat refusal to complaints about the face in the panel image, with people asking Blizzard to sell the skin separately later.
