## Google's new family AI agent
CC is Google Labs' latest experiment, a shared AI assistant for up to six family members that learns your routines and automates household tasks using your Google account data.
## Built on Google's latest models
CC runs on isolated cloud instances powered by Gemini 3.8 Flash, Google's latest AI model. Each family gets its own dedicated instance for privacy and performance.
## Your Day Ahead briefing
Every morning, CC sends a shared email summarizing the day's events, calendar items, and task updates for all family members. It can also add items to shared calendars and create documents.
## Automates tedious household tasks
CC can fill out school permission slips, manage calendars, and complete PDF forms with minimal human input. It learns your preferences over time and asks for confirmation before sending anything outside the family group.

> the robot fills out almost all of the form without being asked, but it checks with the user about other details as needed
## Privacy controls for shared access
CC has its own Google account and only sees emails explicitly shared with it. You can designate certain senders as always available or send content via email or Google Chat. It monitors a shared Drive folder for documents and invitations.
## Sign up for the waitlist now
CC is available for personal Gmail accounts held by people 18 or older. Anyone using the earlier CC version that became Daily Brief will be automatically upgraded. The agent is not yet tied to Google's paid subscriptions.
## Key takeaway

CC is a shared family AI assistant that learns your routines and automates tedious household tasks like calendar management and form-filling, available now on a waitlist.
