## Grimes Teases AI Concept Album
Grimes began teasing a new album called Psy Opera in spring 2026, a concept about human extinction risks from AI.

> I was thinking about how everyone is like, "We’re building gods." I’m like, "Why do you automatically assume you’re so much lesser?"
## 70 Humans Collaborated on Trailer
Grimes confirmed 70 humans worked on the album trailer over many months, with Deepseek used for one song's lyrics.

> Created by a 70 person team over many months! I’d appreciate it if their labor wasn’t diminished ?
## First Song 'Accelerando' Released
Grimes released 'Accelerando', a sweeping apocalyptic dance track with VADAKIN, available on Nazgul/Eternal Recurrence.

> ACCELERANDO is out now on Nazgul/Eternal Recurrence.
## Key takeaway
