## Guler sent off for punching
Wakefield prop Emre Guler was sent off during Trinity's 26-16 eliminator win over Leigh Leopards last Friday after clashing with Owen Trout.
## Two-match ban confirmed
The Rugby Football League's match review panel confirmed a two-match ban for the grade E offence on Monday.
## Misses semi-final and Grand Final
Barring a successful appeal, Guler will miss Wakefield's semi-final against Wigan on Saturday and the Grand Final if Trinity reach it.
## Guler's recent arrival from NRL
Guler only joined Wakefield last month after bringing forward his planned move from St George Illawarra Dragons, originally scheduled for the 2027 season.
## Other disciplinary outcomes
Wakefield's Mike McMeeken was fined for dangerous contact. Warrington's James Harrison was also fined, while Hull KR's Peta Hiku received a two-match ban that will carry over to next season.
## Key takeaway

A two-match ban for punching means Guler will miss Wakefield's entire remaining playoff campaign unless he successfully appeals.
