You've been waiting for so many years ## Henry lost his words The 21-year-old gasped when he saw the convertible and could barely get a sentence out. > Oh my God! Jesus Christ. I don't even know what to say ## He kept his end Kaulitz explained on camera that he was settling a bet the two of them made years earlier. ## Hidden in the garage Kaulitz bought the Ferrari at a car show last year and kept it stashed in their own garage the whole time. ## Seven years of waiting Klum did the math out loud in the video, dating the original deal back nearly a decade. > Literally, it's what? Seven years ago when you guys said that? ## The Mario Kart wager A follow-up post revealed the terms: a Christmas race between teenage Henry and his stepfather, with steep stakes on both sides. ## What Henry risked If he lost, Henry gave up video games for three months and had to paint a picture of himself driving. > if I lose Mario Kart, then I can't play video games for three months ## What he won Henry's side of the bet was simple and enormous. > But if I win, then Tom has to give me a Ferrari when I'm 21 ## A throwback for the day Klum also posted a black-and-white shot of all four of her kids as small children in birthday hats. ## Time flies Her caption ran with a string of red hearts and plain motherly awe. > Henry WOW. Time flies. We love you sooooooo much. Happy 21 Birthday ## His first legal drink Klum's Instagram Stories caught Henry having his first legal drink at a family dinner after the surprise. ## Candles and cake She reshared a clip from daughter Leni of Henry blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. ## Four kids, two fathers Henry is one of four. Leni, 22, has Flavio Briatore as her biological father and was adopted by Seal, who is also father to Johan, 19, and Lou, 16. ## Fresh off St. Barts The family was in St. Barts in early August for Klum and Kaulitz's seventh wedding anniversary, with Leni and Henry along. ## A close mother and son Henry talks about his parents warmly in interviews, and they turn up on red carpets together. > Anything that I do, [my parents are] always so supportive ## They taught him to dress for himself Henry told People his parents pushed him to follow his own instincts as his style changed through his teens. > Whatever makes you feel good, whatever can make you feel powerful ## Key takeaway Tom Kaulitz lost a Mario Kart bet to his stepson seven years ago and actually paid up, with a Ferrari F430 hidden in the garage for a year.
