## A Nobel winner at the Linc
Malala Yousafzai turned up in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field for the Eagles season opener against the Washington Commanders.
## The jumbotron gave her away
Cameras caught her during the game and put her on the big screen. Social media reacted with surprise that she was there at all.
## She made it official
Rather than let the speculation run, she quote-tweeted the jumbotron image of herself with two words.

> GO BIRDS
## Sports fan, new team
The youngest Nobel laureate in history has called herself a big sports fan for years. Philadelphia football is the recent addition.
## It started last October
She came to Philadelphia on tour for her memoir "Finding My Way." That trip is where the Eagles thing began.
## Kylie Kelce recruited her
At the tour stop, Kylie Kelce talked Malala into saying "go Birds" and leading an Eagles chant with the crowd.
## She posted the proof
Malala shared video of the chant on her Instagram Story, plus a backstage photo hugging Kylie Kelce with Jason Kelce grinning at the edge of the frame.
## Kelce called her shot
On her podcast, Kelce said she spent the backstage time working on one goal: getting Malala to an actual game.

> I feel like she's a shoo-in to be cheering on the Birds with us.
## The Popeye's photo dump
Less than two months later, the fifth image in an Instagram carousel showed her at a table with fried chicken and a headscarf half covering an Eagles tee.
## Next stop, the celebrity box
With the fandom out in the open, don't be shocked to see her seated near Bradley Cooper and Quinta Brunson before the season ends.
## Key takeaway

Malala's Eagles fandom wasn't a one-off photo op. It built quietly over a year, from a book tour chant to a season opener seat.
