## The Traitors returns with civilians
The reality competition show is back for a new season called New Blood, swapping out celebrity contestants for an all-civilian cast while Alan Cumming returns as host.
## When and where to watch
The show airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with the first two episodes back-to-back. Episodes stream on Peacock the next day.
## Stream live with these services
Watch live on NBC through DirecTV, Fubo, or Peacock Premium Plus. DirecTV and Fubo both offer five-day free trials.
## What The Traitors is about
Contestants live in a house competing for a shared prize pot. Each night someone is "murdered" while players vote out suspected traitors. If all traitors are eliminated, the faithful split the money.
## Why civilians matter this season
Previous seasons with reality TV stars sometimes lost their mystery appeal due to shared history between contestants. An all-civilian cast brings fresh dynamics to the game.
## Peacock has past seasons too
If you want to catch up on earlier seasons, Peacock is the best option. The Premium Plus plan includes live NBC access for this season.
## Key takeaway

The Traitors: New Blood airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with episodes streaming on Peacock the next day, and you can watch live through DirecTV, Fubo, or Peacock Premium Plus.
