## Two decades, one collection
Dana White built the UFC into a global business and filled his Las Vegas office at UFC headquarters with sports history along the way. He agreed to walk through it.

> And along the way, he's built one hell of a collection.
## A Boston kid in Vegas
White grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Las Vegas in fourth grade. The city had the UNLV Rebels and nothing else, so his Boston fandom never budged, and his Vegas-born kids inherited it.

> Las Vegas didn't have any teams. They had the Rebels basketball team. That was it.
## Butler and the comeback
His two favourite sports moments are both Patriots Super Bowls: Malcolm Butler's goal-line interception against Seattle, and the Atlanta comeback he watched surrounded by Falcons fans.

> Boston fans were wandering around like dazed and confused, like it was a dream.
## The million-dollar Brady
A diamond-rated Tom Brady refractor. Only seven exist, White owns one and a friend owns another. A lesser copy sold for about $780,000 days before the interview.

> Mine is way better than the one that sold, so it's a million dollars plus card.
## Chasing a Mantle 10
He owns a signed 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle, the grail of card collecting, but not in a 10. Three 10s exist, and the talk is that one would fetch $60 million.

> Probably the holy grail of, of card collecting. 1952 tops Mickey Mantle with the autograph on it.
## Boston team grenades
Among the graded cards sit novelty grenades branded with the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics. He saw them for sale and bought them on impulse.

> I saw those for sale somewhere and I, and I had to have them.
## The one he regrets
For all the loyalty, he admits he walked out of one game early because he was freezing, and calls it a black mark on his record as a fan.

> That's a bad one, folks.
## A closet full of Travis Scotts
He has not worn every sneaker in the office closet. The Travis Scott pairs are the ones he actually puts on, and he claims to own more of them than the rapper does.

> I have more Travis Scotts than Travis Scott has.
## Welcome to death row
Behind the memorabilia is a private gym he trains in daily. One corner holds the hardest leg equipment he could find, which is why he calls it death row.

> This is death row. That's all the nastiest leg equipment on the planet.
## Twenty minutes of red light
Health and longevity have become a second obsession. He uses a red light therapy bed every day for 20 minutes, and has a faster 10-minute model at home.

> Being healthy is expensive and very time consuming.
## Vinny Paz's belts
His favourite piece is not the priciest. He bought Vinny Pazienza's title belts, from IBF to WBU, because the fighter had no children and wanted them to outlast him.

> I don't want my belts to just disappear when I die.
## Key takeaway

White's collection is less about market value than about loyalty, to Boston teams, to old friends, and to a fighter who didn't want his belts to vanish.
