## YouTuber claims Insta360 mirrorless cameras
A YouTuber circulated a video purporting to show two designs of Insta360 interchangeable lens cameras set for launch at CP+ 2027 in 5 months.

## AI-generated camera designs
The first camera design resembles Sony E-mount with identical pogo pins, while the second looks like a white Ace Pro 2 with a Micro Four Thirds lens mount.

> The camera frame itself looks a lot like what an AI might create if it was "inspired" by one of Sony's mirrorless bodies and the Canon EOS M6 Mark II.
## Insta360 co-founder avoids denial
Max Richter, co-founder of Insta360, carefully avoided denying the company was working on an interchangeable-lens camera but said partners like Leica need not be concerned.

> I've also personally spoken to Max Richter, co-founder of Insta360, who carefully avoided denying that the company was working on an interchangeable-lens camera (though he said the company's partner in ventures like the Luna Ultra, Leica, need not be concerned).
## Text movement in AI-generated video
The text around the lens rim moves in the video, which is a giveaway that the camera design is AI-generated rather than authentic.

> Perhaps the biggest give away is the way the text around the lens rim moves in the video.
## GoPro Mission Pro ILS issues
GoPro's Mission Pro ILS has a lens mount that protrudes from the camera body and blocks the view, making it unsuitable for the AI-generated Insta360 design.

> The lens mount protrudes from the side of the camera body on one side, and sticks in front of the monitor on the other, blocking the view.
## Insta360 camera design concerns
The AI-generated camera designs lack unique style, correct proportions, and button arrangements expected of Insta360, suggesting the video is a hoax.

> It doesn't look exactly like either, but it certainly doesn't have any unique style, which I'd definitely expect of Insta360, speaking as someone who has reviewed a lot of the company's products.
## Key takeaway

A YouTuber's video showing Insta360 mirrorless cameras for CP+ 2027 has been debunked as AI-generated, with the designs matching Sony and Canon models too closely.
