## A mile of tunnels, gone
Israel's military says it used more than 1,000 tonnes of explosives to destroy two tunnels running over 2km beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon.
## It registered as an earthquake
The US Geological Survey measured seismic activity equal to a magnitude 4.1 quake. Tremors reached Saida, a coastal city 40km north.
## Nabatieh felt it first
A resident 6km from the ridge described the sky lighting up, then the sound. People screamed, children cried, and cars packed the roads out toward Beirut.

> The house shook all together as if it was literally an earthquake.
## What Israel says was inside
The IDF describes a Badr unit command centre stocked with rockets, missiles, drones, anti-tank weapons and mines, built over two decades with Iranian money.

> All of the terrorists who were inside the infrastructure were eliminated or fled.
## A security zone, finished
The blast completed a mission to destroy eight tunnels and carve out what Israel calls a security zone. Israeli forces still occupy roughly 5% of Lebanese territory.
## The ceasefire that isn't quiet
Since fighting resumed on 2 March, Lebanon's health ministry counts at least 4,383 killed and 330,000 still displaced. Israel reports 40 soldiers and four civilians dead.
## Key takeaway

The ceasefire lowered the fighting but did not end it: Israel still holds about 5% of Lebanon, 330,000 people remain displaced, and the demolitions continue.
