## Phil Collen and Jackson reunite
Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen and Jackson have partnered for nearly 40 years, and now his signature model joins the Pro Series for the first time, made in Mexico at a lower price.
## A Strat with reverse headstock
The PC1-E keeps the Strat body and reverse headstock that defined Collen's guitars for four decades, now with a heavy relic finish that matches other Mexican-made Fender family models.
## Mahogany body, exotic woods
The guitar pairs a mahogany body with a caramelized maple neck and 24-fret ebony fretboard, plus a dual-action truss rod wheel at the heel and Luminlay side dots.
## Floyd Rose and DiMarzio pickups
A golden Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo sits at the heart, paired with a high-powered X2N bridge humbucker and Sugar Chakra single coils, all wired through a five-way blade switch.
## Active sustainer and coil split
The PC1-E features an active sustainer switch that works like an E-bow, a push-pull volume coil split, an Intensity control, and a Fundamental/Harmonic/Blend switch for tonal flexibility.

> It's got all the bells and whistles. You can rule the universe with one of these.
## Priced at twenty-two hundred dollars
The PC1-E costs $2,199.99 and is built in Ensenada, Mexico. Collen says it covers every sound you need without needing another guitar.

> Honestly, if you've got a PC1, you don't need anything else at all.
## Key takeaway

The PC1-E brings Phil Collen's 40-year Jackson partnership to an affordable price point by moving production to Mexico, while keeping the exotic woods and complex electronics that define his signature sound.
