## Second ascent in Ticino
Jorge Díaz-Rullo repeated P.I.G. V15 at Gottardo Pass in Switzerland, the boulder Stefano Ghisolfi established earlier this summer by linking Quiet Storm V14 into Rosa Maialino V11.
## Unfinished business from June
He tried the line alongside Ghisolfi in June and walked away empty-handed. Better skin and cooler conditions turned it into a short session.

> A boulder I tried back in June with [Stefano Ghisolfi]. He managed to do the first ascent, while I left it unfinished.
## Long, steep and crimpy
P.I.G. is a big traverse on wildly overhanging rock, all tiny crimps and slopers, with hard moves up front and a pumpy finish.

> A bit of an eliminate line, but a really fun one, with hard moves at the beginning and a spicy bit of endurance at the end.
## No kneepad, no problem
A kneebar rest sits near the midpoint. Ghisolfi milked it with a kneepad, Díaz-Rullo sent without one.

> Unfortunately, it was not as hard as I expected, but fun anyway!
## A bouldering year
He flashed Jaro V13 in Spain, got his first-ever V13 flash on Voz Suave Del Mar, and ticked Andularia V15 and Hazel Grace V14 in days. P.I.G. is his ninth V15.
## Still a rope climber first
The 27-year-old has over a dozen routes at 5.15b and harder, including Bibliographie and Mejorando la Samfaina. This year he finished Café Colombia, his 5.15d mega-project.
## Key takeaway

Díaz-Rullo is turning a bouldering side quest into a serious résumé, with nine V15s and a 5.15d to his name.
