## Slowest home run trot ever
Junior Caminero took 40.65 seconds to round the bases after his walk-off homer for the Rays on Tuesday, the longest tracked in the Statcast era.

> If his trip to home plate felt interminable, it's because it was literally the slowest on record.
## Rays beat Athletics in walk-off
Caminero's blast off a 100.4 mph fastball from Elvis Alvarado gave Tampa Bay a 2-1 victory over Oakland at Tropicana Field on Tuesday night.
## Caminero told teammates to wait
The 23-year-old intentionally delayed his trot, telling his teammates, "Wait for me, my guys. Let me have a little bit of time right here."

> Wait for me, my guys. Let me have a little bit of time right here.
## Two walk-offs in five days
Before Tuesday, Caminero had zero career walk-off hits. He now has two in five days after also hitting a game-winner against Houston on Friday.
## Rays clinch playoff berth
The victory moves Tampa Bay closer to locking up the AL East title and officially secures their playoff spot for the season.
## Key takeaway

Junior Caminero deliberately celebrated his walk-off home run with an intentionally slow home run trot that set an MLB record at 40.65 seconds.
