## Two veterans join roster battle
The Knicks signed guard John Konchar and center Drew Eubanks to one-year deals. Eubanks' contract is nonguaranteed, while Konchar's guarantee status remains unclear.
## Fighting for the minimum
If either player makes the roster, the Knicks will reach the required 14 standard NBA contracts. They likely can't afford a 15th player without exceeding the second apron.
## Konchar brings defensive versatility
The 6-foot-5 guard spent last season with the Grizzlies and Jazz, averaging 4.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals. He's shot 34.9 percent from three over his career.
## Eubanks adds frontcourt depth
The 6-foot-10 center played for the Kings last year, averaging 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds. His signing addresses the loss of Mitchell Robinson and Ariel Hukporti this offseason.
## Big man shortage looms
If Konchar makes the roster over Eubanks, the Knicks would have only two true big men in Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond. Training camp begins September 28.
## G-League pipeline gets stocked
The Knicks signed seven players to Exhibit 10 contracts, then waived six. Most will likely join the Westchester Knicks in the G-League, earning extra money through the roster moves.
## Key takeaway

The Knicks are down to the wire filling their roster after losing frontcourt depth, with Konchar and Eubanks competing for final spots.
