## The cheapest seat costs $1,346
Secondary market tickets for the Oct. 20 opener against Philadelphia start at $1,346 including fees, per TicketIQ. That is the floor, not a good seat.
## Up 526% in one year
Last season's home opener against Cleveland settled at a $215 get-in price. The same walk-in ticket now costs more than six times that.
## Pricier than the Finals
Opening night beats every Knicks playoff game last season except Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals. A regular season Monday now outprices a conference final.

> The championship has completely reset the Knicks ticket market
## Every game got more expensive
The get-in price across all MSG games rises about 47%, from $234 last season to $344 this season. The whole schedule reset, not just the opener.
## A banner 53 years late
The Knicks raise a championship banner at MSG for the first time since 1973. Fans are paying for the ceremony as much as the basketball.
## LeBron debuts as a Sixer
James left the Lakers for Philadelphia this offseason and plays his first game in that jersey at the Garden. Prices have slipped 5% in four days, from $1,417.
## Key takeaway

Winning a title resets a team's ticket market permanently, not just for the playoff run: the Knicks' cheapest seat all season is now up 47%.
