## LG enters the RGB LED market
LG has released the MRGB95B, a seventy five inch RGB LED TV priced at three thousand six hundred dollars. Almost every major TV maker has launched RGB LED models in twenty twenty six.
## What RGB LED technology does
RGB LED TVs use zones of individual red, green and blue LEDs as backlights instead of white or blue LEDs with color filters. This allows higher color brightness and the ability to display more colors.
## The MRGB95B specs and features
The LG MRGB95B comes in three sizes with the seventy five inch being the smallest. It has four HDMI two point one ports, supports Dolby Vision, and runs webOS.
## Brightness is the MRGB95B's strength
The MRGB95B gets very bright, measuring a peak of four thousand eleven nits in HDR Filmmaker mode. This allows it to deliver an impactful image even in a sunlit living room.
## Shadow detail and blooming problems
Near black shadow detail is difficult to see on the MRGB95B. When bright moments appear within dark portions of the screen, such as subtitles, the LG exhibits more blooming than other RGB LED TVs.
## Color accuracy issues out of the box
The MRGB95B covers one hundred percent of the P three color gamut and nearly ninety percent of the larger BT point two zero twenty color area.
## The TV leans toward blue
The MRGB95B leans toward light blue in Filmmaker mode.White clouds have a slight blue tint and skin tones are cooler than they should be.

> A $3,600 TV in 2026 shouldn't have the inaccuracies on the MRGB95B.
## Reflections wreak havoc indoors
The MRGB95B has a glossy coating that is one of the most reflective in a long time.In moderately lit rooms, lamps or ceiling lights reflected on the screen cause rainbows to dance across the image.
## Viewing angles are weak
Viewing angles are a problem for LED TVs generally and evident on the LG too. When only moderately off axis, the colors become washed out, losing their vibrancy for anyone sitting off to the side.
## Sony and Hisense do it cheaper
The Sony Bravia seven II costs one thousand three hundred dollars less at seventy five inches and has better color accuracy and handles reflections better. The Hisense UR nine performs comparably for less money too.
## LG's own OLEDs are better
The LG G six OLED is only a few hundred dollars more than the MRGB95B, as is the Samsung S ninety five H.Both OLEDs offer significantly better performance with superior color accuracy and viewing angles.
## OLEDs have zero blooming
The OLEDs do not get quite as bright as the MRGB95B but can turn off light at the pixel level. This gives them remarkable contrast and zero blooming, making them superior choices.
## LG's LED TVs remain uncompetitive
LG has always struggled to make competitive LED TVs and that trend continues with the MRGB95B. The TV might be LG's best argument to get an LG OLED TV instead.
## Key takeaway

LG's three thousand six hundred dollar MRGB95B RGB LED TV is bright but has color inaccuracy, excessive reflections and more blooming than competitors, making it poor value against cheaper alternatives and LG's own OLED models.
