## Two years on one album
Lucy Dacus has spent close to two years touring Forever Is a Feeling. At 31, she is ready to put the record down.
## The Bowl is the finish line
Sunday night at the Hollywood Bowl, backed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, is the show she picked to end the run.
## Rituals keep her steady
Without a marker for a milestone, Dacus says the transition hits her hard. So she builds one in.

> I've found that if I don't have some degree of ritual or marking of milestones, I get really sad.
## Planning around edges
She schedules with the start and the finish in mind, treating each as something that deserves attention rather than a date that just passes.

> I make plans trying to be respectful of beginnings and endings.
## An official close
The Bowl show is not just another tour date. Dacus is using it to formally shut a significant stretch of her career.
## Key takeaway

Endings need to be marked, not just survived. Dacus builds a ritual into the calendar so a chapter actually closes.
