## She finally spoke
Maria Bartiromo posted her first public comments since leaving Fox News and Fox Business last week, ending several days of silence.
## The exit was abrupt
Her departure from both Fox News and Fox Business came suddenly last week, with no drawn-out goodbye and no public explanation at the time.
## A thank you on X
She used a Thursday post on X to thank friends and followers, saying she was grateful for the messages flooding in by social media and text.

> Thank you to all friends & followers for your amazing words I am so grateful for the outpouring of love on SM & texts
## A rainbow through clouds
With the note she shared a photo she took the other day of a rainbow breaking through clouds, a hopeful image doing the work her words did not.

> here's a great shot of the breaking through, I snapped the other day
## Two words that matter
She closed with "More to come," a tease that she is not done talking about what happened or about what she does next.

> I love you all. here's a great shot... More to come
## Still no answers
The post explains nothing about why she left. It only confirms she is aware of the attention and plans to address it on her own timing.
## Key takeaway

Bartiromo hasn't explained the exit, but she signaled publicly that her side of the story is still coming.
