## Matthew Lillard's podcast comment
Matthew Lillard spoke on the 'I’ve Never Said This Before' podcast about trans youth and Cornell University campus assaults.

> My first instinct is to go to speaking about queer kids and queer rights and trans kids and this idea that I reposted something recently that there are more rapists from that university than there are trans athletes in the world competing in other sports
## Cornell assault allegations
A Jane Doe claims she was gang raped by Chi Phi fraternity members at Cornell University in 2024 after being drugged.

> The claimant then says she was raped for hours
## Cornell investigation outcome
Two of seven accused Chi Phi fraternity members were expelled after Cornell University's investigation.

> After filing a report to university police, an investigation ended with only two of seven accused fraternity members expelled
## Lillard's stance on cancel culture
Lillard criticized cancel culture, saying being a kid on the outside should lead with love rather than division.

> I feel like this idea of people cancelling other people is just horrific. And being a kid that feels like he’s been on the outside his whole life, I just feel like most people should lead with love
## Celebrity support for Jane Doe
Florence Pugh, Mariska Hargitay, and Hudson Williams publicly supported the Jane Doe after Cornell University's assault allegations.

> After reading about the young woman who was gang raped at her college by her friend and school peers, I’m feeling uneasy and sick and anxious
## Key takeaway

Matthew Lillard criticized Cornell University's alleged campus assaults and supported trans youth rights.
