## 2026 Minor League Stats
Anderson finished with a .302/.386/.477 slash line at Triple-A Toledo across his full minor league campaign.
## Lefty vs Righty Performance

## 2027 Prospect Discussion
Detroit’s next-wave prospect discussion identified Anderson as a potential contributor in 2027.
## Offensive Profile Analysis
Treating him principally as a weapon against lefties risked overlooking his stronger performance against right-handed pitching.
## Defensive Fit Needed
The Tigers could not settle the decision from offensive numbers alone: his defensive range and position remained central to regular playing time.
## MLB Velocity Test Required
Detroit also needed to learn how his approach would translate against Major League velocity.
## 2027 Role Strategy
The front office could create chances at second or third base to evaluate both his at-bats and defensive cost.
## Key takeaway

Detroit Tigers will test Max Anderson's versatility in 2027 after his 2026 minor league performance showed value against both left and right-handed pitchers.
