## Rams beat Giants without Nacua
Los Angeles dominated New York 28-6 on Monday night despite star receiver Puka Nacua sitting out with an injury.
## Nacua dealing with psoas issue
The receiver developed a soft tissue injury during the week and missed practice Friday and Saturday before being ruled out for Monday's game.
## McVay hopeful but cautious
Coach Sean McVay said Tuesday he's unsure if Nacua will be ready for Sunday's game against Denver, but expressed hope he could play.

> I'm hopeful that he'll play. If he's ready to go, great. If not, then we'll continue to roll.
## Erring on side of caution
McVay explained the team won't count on Nacua playing and must plan as if he won't be available, given the nature of soft tissue injuries.

> when you have soft tissue injuries with guys like that, that are skill players, you're going to err on the side of caution.
## Nacua's early season performance
The receiver caught five passes for 74 yards in the Rams' season-opening loss to San Francisco before the injury emerged.
## Key takeaway

The Rams are treating Nacua's soft tissue injury cautiously and won't rely on his availability for their Week 3 matchup.
