## Golden Globes decision

## Film moves to drama categories
The film, starring Jaafar Jackson as Michael Jackson, is now in drama categories competing against films like Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
## No effect on supporting actors
Supporting actor and actress categories do not separate by genre, so Jaafar Jackson's co-stars Colman Domingo and Nia Long remain unaffected.
## Key takeaway

Lionsgate's Michael Jackson biopic 'Michael' won't compete in comedy or musical categories at Golden Globes, moving to drama categories instead.
