## Lead Single Fakeout
Bass Persuades' opening track misleads with its 'kids don't wanna dance' theme but delivers sharper music than expected.

> Bass Persuades diminished a lot of faith in the record for some fans, but don't be fooled. Bass Persuades is so much sharper than its lead single let on.
## Psychedelic Country Twist
Miley shifts from psychedelic synths to down-home country twang on 'Orbit', creating a trippy contrast.

> Despite the Dead Petz ambience, she swerves back into a down-home country twang to sing this one, which somehow makes it trippier.
## New Religion Anthem
The electroclash track 'Different Religion' proclaims a theology where God drives a fast car and is a hot boy.

> I've got my own god! He drives a fast car! My god's a hot boy!
## Noise Rock Collaboration
Miley teams with Brooklyn noise band Model/Actriz for gritty, industrial beats on 'Different Religion'.

> Model/Actriz are the coolest of the cool, and hearing her tangle with guitarist Jack Wetmore's ice-pick riffs is a pure joy.
## Fiancé Production
Miley's fiancé Maxx Morando co-wrote and produced most tracks on Bass Persuades, blending his Migos-influenced style.

> He understands the blur that I like to live in when it comes to music.
## Hollywood Bowl Plans
Miley and Maxx Morando plan to perform at the Hollywood Bowl with Model/Actriz next month.

> We can't wait to see what happens when these rebel hearts come together onstage at the Hollywood Bowl next month.
## Dead Petz Nostalgia
Miley revisits her 2015 Dead Petz album with psychedelic synths and country twang on 'Orbit'.

> She hits these heights again in 'Orbit', floating over the Pink Floyd-style synths for a psychedelic prayer to orbit you forever.
