## MoonPay acquires Rhythm
MoonPay bought Rhythm, an on-chain trading signals platform. All three co-founders, Joseph Murphy, James Miller and Lincoln Barnett III, joined MoonPay along with the technology.
## Eight months to exit
Co-founder James Miller posted on LinkedIn that the deal closed last July, less than a year after the team started building.

> after just 8 months of building, Rhythm was acquired by MoonPay
## What Rhythm actually does
The platform helps users discover tokens, track markets, execute trades and manage risk in one place, instead of switching between several apps.
## MoonPay funded it first
Rhythm was the first company MoonPay Labs invested in, back in 2025. The acquisition turns that early bet into an in-house product.

## Plugged into the ramp
Rhythm already integrates with MoonPay's Top Up widget, so a user can move fiat in and start trading without leaving the flow.
## A buying spree, not a one-off
This is MoonPay's ninth acquisition since January 2025, after Helio, Iron, Meso, Sodot, DFlow, Dawn Labs, Entendre and Glide. Each one adds a layer: payments, stablecoins, custody, AI, trading rails.
## Key takeaway

MoonPay is assembling a full crypto stack by buying the pieces, and Rhythm adds the part that tells users what to trade.
