## Mourinho brings printouts to press conference
Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho arrived at his post-match news conference on Sunday with printed screenshots of two incidents he believed deserved red cards for Atletico Madrid players.

> We can skip the press conference because the story of the match is right here
## Real Madrid loses 2-1 to Atletico
Real Madrid were beaten 2-1 by Atletico Madrid in the derby, with Mourinho claiming the hosts should have received two red cards in the first half.
## Atletico fires back on social media
Atletico Madrid posted twice on X, including a video of a printer with the message 'stop referee harassment now' and a photo of Mourinho at the conference. The posts received two million views within two hours.
## Huijsen sent off in second half
Real Madrid defender Dean Huijsen was sent off early in the second half for pulling down Atletico's Giuliano Simeone inside the penalty area when the match was goalless.
## Simeone calls for respect
Atletico coach Diego Simeone said he respects others' opinions but warned that coaches must be careful about crossing the line of respect when criticizing referees and colleagues.

> We have to know how to respect others, the referees, our colleagues
## Real Madrid blames dreadful refereeing
Real Madrid's official match report attributed the derby loss to 'dreadful refereeing' by Ortiz Arias, backing Mourinho's public complaints about the official's performance.
## Key takeaway

When coaches publicly blame referees, rivals will use social media to mock them rather than engage with the substance.
