## Financial pressures and player losses
Munster face financial constraints and lost 633 appearances' worth of experience with key forwards John Ryan, Niall Scannell, and Jean Kleyn departing.
## Coaching changes and new signings
New coach Clayton McMillan secured backing after the Randle controversy, with Kieran Brookes from Perpignan and Australian Will Harrison joining the squad.
## Key player concerns
Jack Crowley's blood vessel issues forced him to miss the end of last season, with hope for his return in 2026-27.
## Edwin Edogbo's comeback
Edwin Edogbo, a 23-year-old lock returning from a two-year absence due to an Achilles tendon rupture, aims to push for club and country success.

Munster need new signings and academy graduates to fire to stay competitive, with a fight for the final play-off spot likely.
