## Rams can't survive without Garrett
ESPN's Chris Canty, a Super Bowl XLVI champion with the Giants, says the Rams' season depends on one player: defensive end Myles Garrett.

> If [Myles Garrett] doesn't come back sooner rather than later, their season's going to be over
## Rams added defensive stars
The team brought in cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, plus defensive lineman Aaron Donald. They're considered odds-on favorites despite the roster changes.
## Defense lost key players too
Jared Verse went in the Garrett trade. Cobie Durant, Ahkello Witherspoon, Roger McCreary, and Nick Hampton all signed elsewhere on one-year deals.
## 49ers demolished them in Australia
San Francisco crushed the Rams 27-7 in their game down under, raising questions about the team's readiness.
## Canty might have a point
While the overall roster looks strong on paper, Canty may be right about their ceiling without Garrett healthy.
## Key takeaway

Despite adding Aaron Donald and other stars, the Rams may not survive without Myles Garrett returning quickly from injury.
