## NASA Swift Telescope
NASA's Swift observatory, a 22-year-old space telescope, will reenter Earth's atmosphere this week.
## Decommissioned After 22 Years
The satellite was decommissioned in October after solar activity created drag, pulling it back to Earth.
## Potential Landing Zone
It could land in South America, Central America, Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia, or India.
## Low Survival Odds
Scientists warn 10 percent of its weight might survive reentry and land on Earth.
## Key takeaway

NASA's Swift telescope, decommissioned after 22 years in orbit, will reenter Earth's atmosphere this week and land in a large global area.
