The filmmakers behind Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger explained why the documentary doesn’t show how Liam and Noel Gallagher reconciled after their 2009 split.
## Documentary streaming details
The film will stream on Disney+ from Friday (October 9) with previously unseen footage including performance clips and interviews with the Gallagher brothers.
## Why reconciliation wasn’t filmed
The directors said Liam and Noel didn’t sit down to reconcile but walked back into a room together and started performing again immediately after their split.
## Creative decision on interviews
The filmmakers chose not to show Liam and Noel together in interviews until the end of the film to maintain creative impact.
## Emotional impact on Noel
Noel became emotional during early shows, turning his back because he saw reunions happening and felt the music connected with fans emotionally.
## Live performances as reconciliation
The band’s chemistry improved live on stage, with Liam and Noel getting closer during their 2025 tour shows.
## Fan connection to music
The documentary shows how Oasis music has connected with fans across generations since their 2009 split, despite 16 years without promotion.
## Universal message of music
The filmmakers believe Oasis music creates a universal connection, showing people are the same despite cultural differences.
## 2025 tour ticket sales
Oasis confirmed they will return to the stage next year for shows across the UK, Europe, and North America after tickets sold out quickly.
## Liam’s response to new music
Liam said if the tour goes well, they’ll discuss new music next but can’t tour without new songs.
