## Contract Restructure
Mack Hollins restructured his contract to reduce incentives from 30-40-50 receptions to 47-50-55 receptions in 2026.

> Nobody wants to change anything, but that’s sometimes what happens.
## Hollins' Claim
Hollins says the Patriots forced him to restructure by threatening to cut him to save cap space.

> Hey, you could take this offer, or we could potentially cut you.
## Team's Motivation
The Patriots freed $3.8 million in cap space by cutting Hollins but convinced him to restructure instead.

> They’re not saying, like, that’s the business.
## Team's Current Need
Hollins must step up after A.J. Brown was placed on injured reserve, leading the wide receiver group.

> My goal is to go hit all those incentives.
## Contract Impact
Hollins will now earn incentives for 47, 50, and 55 receptions in 2026 instead of 30, 40, and 50.

> It’s like, ‘Hey, you could take this offer, or we could potentially cut you.’
## Key takeaway

Hollins restructured his contract to keep playing despite potential cuts, prioritizing team needs over personal incentives.
