## Prime Day kicks off October 6
Amazon's second annual Prime Big Deal Days sale runs October 6 and 7, but early deals have already started. WIRED's deal experts have been hunting for true discounts on hand-tested gear.
## Best phone deal: Pixel 10a
The Google Pixel 10a is down to $424, a $75 discount. It's WIRED's favorite Android phone overall because it's cheap but delivers powerful cameras, smooth performance, and years of software updates.
## Top earbuds for Android users
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are $190, down $40. They're WIRED's top earbuds for Android, with great sound, active noise cancellation, long battery life, and useful software features.
## Budget earbuds and workout options
JBL Go 5 is $40 (27% off) and Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 are $200 (20% off). The JBL is durable and lightweight; the Beats work with both iOS and Android with punchy sound and transparency mode.
## Robot vacuum at best price
Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro is $550, down $250 from $800. It has good suction power and this is the best price since release, though it could handle tricky spills better.
## Smart home deals on air and birds
Netvue Birdfy Lite smart bird feeder is $144 with AI identification and solar panel. Levoit Vital 200S-P air purifier is $170, with a connected app that tracks air quality and sends notifications.
## Cordless vacuum and portable router
Shark PowerDetect cordless stick vacuum is $430 with base station, down $120. TP-Link Roam 7 router is $90, down $40, and works well for travel or small spaces with VPN support.
## Coverage continues through holidays
WIRED will track deals throughout Prime Day and beyond, all the way through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Check back for updates on the best offers.
## Key takeaway

Early Prime Day deals on tested tech like the Google Pixel 10a and Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro are live now, before the official October 6-7 event.
