## Ravens' first Brazil trip
The Ravens prepared for their third international NFL game in franchise history after the official announcement on April 24.
## Logistics team scouted Brazil
A team of eight from the Ravens' operations, video, equipment, athletic training, security, grounds, and marketing staff visited Brazil in May to scout the first-time NFL site.
## Hotel and stadium checks
The Ravens checked all four league-designated hotels, practice sites, the stadium, airport, and transportation options in June before the game.
## Early shipments to Brazil
The Ravens sent a boat shipment of non-perishable food, snacks, and items hard to source outside the U.S. to Brazil in June to avoid customs delays.
## Food planning for players
The Ravens' hotel chef traveled from Brazil to Minnesota in July to work with team chefs on menus that would be edible and familiar to players.
## Customs and travel
Players and staff will clear customs at the airport, but large group processing ensures minimal delays for the Ravens' Week 3 game in Rio.
## Player focus on game
Running back Justice Hill said players won’t talk much about Brazil since it’s a short business trip focused on the game, not travel.
## Key takeaway

The Ravens secured logistics for their first NFL game in Brazil by sending non-perishable supplies early and working with local chefs to ensure player comfort.
